Receiving is a nervous system skill, not a mindset or magic trick.
When something good gets close—more love, more visibility, more money, more ease—your system can tighten like it’s preparing for impact. Not dramatically. Quietly. A bracing in the ribs. A shallow breath. A throat that won’t quite open. A sudden urge to hide, over-explain, over-work, or “be realistic.”
That’s not you doing manifestation wrong. That’s your body doing what it was designed to do: keep you safe.
In my work, I don’t separate spirituality from the body. I treat the body as the place where Spirit becomes real. Your Higher Self (The Divine Angel Within) can deliver the clearest guidance in the world, but your nervous system is the instrument it moves through. If the instrument doesn’t feel safe, it won’t let the music get loud.
Here’s the grounded truth I come back to again and again: manifestation is a safety practice. The Universe doesn’t respond to our words as much as it responds to our capacity. And capacity lives in the Body—in how safe it feels to receive, to be seen, to be supported, and to have more.
The Spirit–Mind–Body Map (Guided by the Heart)
When I want manifestation to feel stable and sustainable—for you and for me—I start with the order that actually matches real life: Spirit, Mind, and Body—all integrated through the Heart.
- Spirit (Higher Self): This is The Divine Angel Within—the part of you that already knows you’re worthy, resourced, and here for a bigger life. It’s the realm of pure potential and clean guidance.
- Mind (Conscious + Subconscious): This is where desire lives, alongside conditioning. It’s where we harbour inherited patterns (familial, matrilineal, even past life), and the protective behaviours that formed when life was intense.
- Body (Nervous System Regulation): This is the vessel. It’s your receiver. It delivers the final “yes” or “no” to what we try to bring into reality—not because it’s trying to block you, but because it’s tracking safety.
The Heart is what keeps the whole system coherent. Without the Heart—without compassion, attunement, and truth—Spirit can feel “too high,” Mind can spin, and Body can brace.

When Your System is in Survival, “More” Can Feel Like Danger
I often see manifestation treated like a mental exercise. But receiving is somatic. Your nervous system is the gatekeeper, and its primary job isn’t to make you successful—it’s to keep you alive.
When the nervous system is stuck in survival states—high-alert fight/flight, or that heavy freeze that can look like numbness, procrastination, and “I’ll do it tomorrow”—anything new can be tagged as unsafe. Even beautiful things. Especially big things.
A launch can mean more eyes on you. More eyes can feel like exposure.
More money can mean more responsibility, more pressure, more change.
More love can mean more vulnerability.
And if your system has learned (at any point in your life) that visibility, change, or closeness came with pain… it can brace before you even consciously decide.
That’s why you might “randomly” forget to post the offer you believe in. Or you’ll overthink the email until it’s midnight. Or you’ll pick a fight, scroll, snack, clean the whole house—anything to discharge the pressure of being seen.
Not because you’re lazy. Not because you’re unworthy. Because your body is trying to create safety.
How Blocks Actually Feel in the Body (So We Can Work with Them)
Let me make this practical. When you’re not feeling safe to receive, it usually shows up as sensations and urges—not as logical thoughts.
Common cues:
- A tight chest or a hard belly (bracing)
- Holding your breath without noticing
- Jaw tension, teeth clenching, headaches
- A “hot” buzz under the skin or restless legs
- A foggy mind, blankness, or feeling oddly disconnected (sometimes this is the system’s way of helping you endure—there’s no judgement here)
- A sudden impulse to shrink: play small, stay quiet, delay, “be low maintenance”
This is the Body asking for a slower approach.
And this is where the Heart matters: I don’t shame the response, and I don’t want you to either. I listen. I build capacity—one honest moment at a time.

Capacity is the Container: You Don’t Manifest What You Want, You Manifest What You Can Hold
Expansion isn’t just getting “more.” It’s becoming the version of you who can hold more without collapsing, clenching, or spinning out.
Imagine pouring pure golden light into a tiny teacup. It’s not that the light is wrong. It’s that the container needs to grow.
Your nervous system is that container.
When I practice regulation (and when I teach it to my clients), I’m teaching the Body:
- It’s safe to be seen.
- It’s safe to be supported.
- It’s safe to be well-resourced.
- It’s safe to have more than enough.
And as your Body starts to believe it, the internal friction drops. Spirit guidance becomes easier to act on. The Mind stops bargaining. The system begins to move as one.
Bringing The Divine Angel Within All the Way Into Real Life
When we operate from Higher Self, we’re not manifesting to fill a hole. We’re allowing our physical reality to catch up to our spiritual truth.
But even a deeply attuned Spirit needs a regulated Body to ground that energy into form. So I honour the body. I move slowly enough for your system to stay with you.
In my experience, it can help to recognize that “blocks” often live across three layers at once:
- Emotional / Trauma: the feelings and meanings we had to swallow; the grief we didn’t get to metabolize.
- Physical / Shock: startle responses, tension patterns, and survival reflexes that can stay switched on long after the moment passes.
- Cellular / Spiritual / Soul: deeper imprints—familial, matrilineal, past life—where the Body holds a story the Mind can’t always name.
This is why Heart-led work is so powerful. The Heart brings kindness to the process, and kindness is often what finally convinces the nervous system it can soften.

Micro-Regulation for Big Receiving (Simple, Daily, and Actually Doable)
I don’t build safety by forcing confidence, and I don’t teach you to do that either. I build it by practising small moments of “I’m here, and I’m safe enough.”
- Breathe Like You Mean It (60 Seconds): Inhale gently through your nose. Exhale a little longer than you inhale. Let your shoulders drop on the exhale. I’m signalling safety, not chasing calm.
- Unclench One Place: Pick one: jaw, belly, hands, or tongue. Soften it by 5%. That tiny “yes” is how the Body learns.
- Do the Next Kind Step: Not the whole plan. The next kind step. Send the email draft. Open the document. Walk for five minutes. Your nervous system trusts what’s consistent, not what’s intense.
- Heart Check-In (Hand to Chest): Place your hand on your heart and say, “I’m with you.” When your system feels accompanied, it stops trying to do everything through control.
- Co-Regulate with Real Support: You’re wired for connection, sweet friend. Let your nervous system borrow calm from safe people and safe spaces. Regulation is faster in relationship.
